I was incredibly surprised that this didn't turn out really bad. Definitely recommended, unless you suffer from motion sickness.

Rambo (Rambo IV) (2008,  R)
Rambo (Rambo IV) 3.5 Stars
Excessively gory... but this makes the movie worth seeing.

There's no story, and the acting is non-existent... but the violence is so visceral you laugh out loud on regular occasions (the scene with Rambo on the 50cal cannon for example).

Go see it - but only for the violence... if you expect anything more, you'll be disappointed.

Not a bad movie at all, though Hayden Christensen is still one of the most wooden actors I've ever seen.

El Orfanato (The Orphanage) 4.0 Stars
A great ghost story... kind of like "The Others" but with a much better storyline. Its obvious why Gulliermo Del Toro loves the movie - its charming, jumpy and is shot beautifully.

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be.... until the cheesy resurrection scene at the end. :/

A work in progress - whenever I go to the movies, I'll review it, and add the review here. :)

Er... The singing parts can get repetitive in Sweeney Todd? Well shouldn't there be lots of singing parts? It is a musical after all. :/

I meant that in a single song in sweeny they repeat themselves a lot - I know thats a staple in musicals, but it kinda irritated me with the part when depp & rickman were singing about "pretty girls" repeatedly for ages. lol
