P.S. I Love You has plenty of love-letter moments, but it's also a very touching and real-feeling look at the grieving process. Lisa Kudrow steals the show. I'd also recommend the book.

A movie that will make you laugh out loiud and almosy cry at times. NOT just a chick flick, my hubby of 30 years enjoyed it as much as I did. I'm NOT a huge chick flick movie, and not a huge romance movie watcher. But this equals "Ghost", "City Of Angels" and "Away From Her" in love story movies. And I do love Hillary Swank, may not be the most beautiful actress,(as another viewer commented on) but a very gifted and talented one. Her beauty shines from with in!
    Very much worth renting.

it's a really heartwarming movie..a great true love story...praise to cecelia ahern...
however, the film is quite different with the novel...the plot is still the same but the details are different..
    hurmm..quite sad though..
however..the film version is also one of the greatest movie i've ever saw..
lastly..to all viewers, do take some time t read the novel..it's really awesome..

This is probally one of the sadest movies I've seen. I cried through the whole movie. If you cry easy durning movies. I wouldn't recomend watching this in the theaters becuz this whole movie is depressing. I didn't think it was a bad movie but it was wayy too depressing for me.

This movie was such a beautiful and moving picture.
Its heartbreaking to think that these things do happen so quickly and suddenly. If only all the men in the world could plan ahead like Gerry. My mum was in tears the whole time, half from laughing and half crying.

I have aleady seen it twice and plan on seeing it again.

Hillary reminds a cousin of me who is also actor, but of second grade. I can re-title the story as 'my dead husband still jokes to me'. the movie is very humorous and same time too emotional. My grade 8/10

No offense to Hilary Swank, but she's not vey pretty. However, this film got 4 stars and I love romantic comedies, so i'd love to see it.

SO GOOD!!!!!!!!! I'm so in love with Gerard Butler!!! Don't listen to anything bad you hear about Hilary Swank in this, she was great. WONDERFUL soundrack! I'm actually listening to it now. Tracks 1, 2, and 6 are the best (just in case you want to buy it).
Seriusly go see this movie! I laughed and sobbed like a maniac!

this is a great film based on a novel written by the brilliant Irish writer ceclia ahern. I was a bit skeptic about seeing hilary swank in a romcom but she was amazing. It was funny and heart wrenching all at the same time but it did have its low points. The main one was how Ireland was portrayed! Almost every scene in Ireland was set in a field and the vast majority of Ireland is urban/suburban.The Irishmen were clearly styled loosely on colin farrells look. The accents were on a word...terrible! And being Irish myself I grew tired of the constant suggestion of the stereotypical Irish drinker. We're not all like that!! In my opinion the book is much better than the film but its still a good watch!
