Plot: The Pevensie siblings return to Narnia, where they are enlisted to once again help ward off an evil king and restore the rightful heir to the land's throne, Prince Caspian.
Holeyyyyyyyy effing moleyyyyy!!!!! This is so good it's unbelievable! The special fx were just extraordinary, humour was great- It was just so good that I felt like going into the cinema again to see it a second time. Definitely worth seeing ... 8.5/10. Oh- and prince Caspian is hot :)
Better than the first
Better than the first
It was a good movie .
I got bored to the very start of the movie but when the climax came, I got off of my boredom. There are many lessons and actions that are funny and memorable. So just sad that King Peter and Queen Susan will not be back in Narnia.. Prince Caspian is good too plus ASLAN . hehe. I like this movie afterwards.
Though the production values are the best money can buy and the film fulfills its promise of great action and adventure, many of its action set pieces seem all too familiar. It seems a bit uninspired because it fails to add something new to the increasingly spent genre. It attempts to give dramatic weight to the story with violence and a body count, yet panders to children with deus ex machina solutions and simplified themes. Fortunately it makes no effort to hide its obvious Christian allegory and thus avoids further confusion, and it ends with a surprisingly poignant moment common in the best children's literature: the final crossing over from fantasy to reality, from childhood into adulthood. Flaws aside, it is a richer, fuller movie than its predecessor and a worthy piece of family entertainment.
I liked that this film had a kind of darkness around it, but it was kind of rough to be counted as a childrens movie.
i prefer the first narnia movie - the lion, witch and wardrobe, prince caspian was not so cool even a part they shoot in Slovenia :) next to one of our rivers called So?a.
love this movie!!! my friends think i look like susan in the scene where she kisses caspian so i guess thats a good thing!!!
its about a prince called caspian and peter susan edmand and lucy come back to narnia and they meet caspian and his uncle diaz. diaz kills caspi
Yes, this is as terrible as the first one! You may stay awake if you are watching it in a cinema theatre though! Poor C.S. Lewis is turning in his grave to see his masterpiece going to pieces!
love this move...susan gets to kiss prince caspian ...it was so cute...and i loved it how aslan came back....the war was awesome....some parts were sad...i hated seeing the white which again..lol ok lets juz get to the point it was a good movie lol i want to get it on dvd
Gotta say, if you sit through some saccharine notes in the first half, some AMAZING battle scenes are the surprise reward. Wow.
Ben Barnes a total hottie!
It's a pretty good movie..Even tho somehow I sorta like the 1st installment better..
Adorable! I love C.S. Lewis stories and even not keeping exactly to the story on the book, the movie is really good! And must I say Ben Barnes is so so so cute!
If you are just looking to be entertained, then this movie will do that.
There are some great new characters with better special effects and better action.
There are some parts that are a little boring but it's still a good movie.
Ohhh and Castellito is great in his role!
A rousing fantasy adventure.
This is something you wouldn't want to
miss. If you thoroughly enjoyed the first film, then this one is a darker adventure than the first one. Everything in Narnia goes totally out of control and tough to handle.
The film starts off with a Spanish group who have invaded Narnia and wiped out all the creatures living there. As it goes, the Pevensie kids are summoned to Narnia to fix up the wrong doings. A lot of conspiracy is thrown into the movie, but it feels like a plot well presented. It's pace is quick and starts right off not waiting to re-introduce everything again.
The cast is absolutely fantastic. The Pevensie kids, just like the last time, add the right amount of drama and humor to their respective roles. Especially Georgie Henley who plays Lucy is the standout yet again. But a worthy addition would also be Prince Caspian, played by Ben Barnes. He acts like a courageous and brave Prince born to lead an army. This is a good breakthrough for him. Also worth mentioning is King Miraz, a great villain since Tilda Swinton. As for a few cameo appearances you should also look out for, the performances are remarkable.
The other outstanding details I loved to see yet again in the film were the Cinematography, The Production Design, and Visual Effects. The shots were lavish and grand. Specially the Long shots, reminded me of The Lord Of The Rings. The Art Direction and the locations are astounding, very vibrant and unlike anything you would have ever seen in film. And of course the Visual Effects, those everlasting details adds another level entirely. You will love watching all this come together.
Even the action and battle sequences feel like a last stand to something no one can win. Its against all odds. You would cringe just because of the turn the film takes. It is filled with dark themes and more mature elements which would be a little hard to take. You might feel that the first one was pretty good. But give it another chance and you would feel this movie is just as good as the first.
For what I feel, this is a really good movie. 9 out of 10. Go to Narnia.
I liked this film...maybe even a little better than the 1st one. I did think the ending was rather stupid...and Prince Caspian was a really dumb character, but besides that...pretty good.
I really liked Prince Caspian! I actually preferred it to the first narnia film, it was a lot more fun
C.S. Lewis, you idiot. Why did you have to die so soon?If you were still alive to this very day you'd realize the mistake your family has fallen to,publishers, whoever it was to give your masterpieces' rights to amateurish Hollywood. Now everyone is complaining about the plot, teen fools will either praise it or swear it,your books will be forgotten by dumb mainstream viewers...I feel sorry not for you mr Lewis but for our cinema who's been controlled by the "people" who plainly materialize us...
not as win as the first but its great, especially when 'The Calling' started playing, I just loved it. I'm gonna miss the older Pevensies.
The first Narnia movie was quite decent but more for the younger audience or atleast they would enjoy it more. Now with this sequel its still for the whole family, teenagar and adults) but more violence and action. Story continues many years after the first movie and the Pevensie's must return to restore Narnia and help Caspian the Prince. A bit better overall than the first movie and hopefully the 3rd upcoming movie can be even better.
Can I take Ben Barnes (Prince Caspian) home! He's cute and the acent just makes him so yummy!
It was a wonderful movie, done very well. The ending credits song is just a perfect way to end the movie. You really want Susan and Caspian to get together in the end. And the way Edmund handles his brother is really on point and nessary. Very well done, can't wait for the next one.
Very kid-friendly. No graphic scenes, no vulgar language ... yet enough action to still appeal to the late teen & young adult crowd. Can't wait for more.
An improvement over the original, there's plenty to enjoy, but someone needs to tell the filmmakers that length does not make a better film...
good movie... but not for kids... there was way too much stuff in this movie the warranted a PG-13. Seriously. A beheading, lots of killing... cool movie, but seriously marketed to the wrong crowd. Make sure to watch this before watching it with any young kids...

I think the movie is pretty disappointing. It is pretty much exactly like the first one, there is no new development, there are no new twists or anything you dont expect. If you have only seen the first one safe your money and wait until it comes out on dvd, much better. Even the fighting scene is pretty much like in the first one.

I love this movie, especially the scenes with Skandar Keynes (Edmund) in them... this is an amazing movie, i don't know why you guys keep bashing it! i love it :) And it just the right amount of violence for me. I wouldn't have been able to stand anymore.
