    ''You're a mouse.''

''You people have no imagination! ''

The Pevensie siblings return to Narnia, where they are enlisted to once again help ward off an evil king and restore the rightful heir to the land's throne, Prince Caspian.

    Ben Barnes: Prince Caspian

Prince Caspian is the 2nd installment of the Narnia series following The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe.
What follows is the Pevensie returning to Narnia after one year has passed for them, they possess all the memories of them growing up as Kings and Queens.
They return to Narnia to find it a new and changed land having endured a gap of 1300 years without them.

We are treated to a new people in the form of the non-magical, Elizabethan Spanish-like, depicted Telmarines.
Prince Caspian played by Ben Barnes, has an exotic Spanish flavoured accent that sounds more like Antonio Banderas. He's a handsome young new comer and a fine addition to a vibrant array of casting.
Sergio Castellitto as King Miraz Caspian's murderous Uncle is a good villain, ruthless and power hungry.

A battle between good and evil takes place in Caspian. Due to the duel aspect of the final battle, the writers decided to add a more straightforward siege to compensate for the machine warfare at the conclusion.
The scene reminiscent of a Minas Tirith battle from Return of the King, adds some nice weight and action, allowing the plot to progress a tad faster and be more interesting than without.

By utilizing it as a chance to show the fallibilities of both Caspian and Peter, it lends more credibility to the idea of resurrecting a former evil to help in the fight against the tyrant Miraz.

Caspian bears alot of similarities to Rings for examples the Telmarines look like Gondor people visually and we have Trees fighting and helping, not to mention a man made of water at a river scene that looked like Arwen's scene in Fellowship.
Although Caspian succeeds in feeling more darker and adult to it's predecessor The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe which was lighter, colourful and more kiddish and magic laden.

Directed once again by quaint director Andrew Adamson who utilizes the land of New Zealand with it's lovely landscapes and settings to breathe life into Prince Caspian the fabled story by Brit C.S Lewis.

Incredible creatures, immense battles, a mysterious Aslan and a White Witch trying to claw her way back into the realms of Narnia. Prince Caspian delivers a family film which can be loved by lovers of the books or family fantasy enthusiasts alike.

I believe there is a big responsibility to bring up such an overwhelming novel series into a moving picture...the director should manage to produce not only a 'fine' movie but also a gleaming and exceed the fans' expectation...not to forget the true novelty of the book itself to keep the story and plots remain true...it occured to every fantasy novel adaptation movie..a comparison to those magical tales of TLOTR-which just seem so unfair...if every fantasy movie is about to be compared to the Academy Award-kick ass, wouldn't they sound absurd? gimme another damn break...
i recalled that the first narnia has failed to materialize a jaw drapping movie (which what they all intended to be at the first place)...so i can see it now how the crew had worked really hard to fix those lack in the previous movie...and actually they did a fantastic job...they'd fixed that bizzare battle (should i say..preposterous?)...the final battle is mind-boggling...well, there are some wacky scene from the final battle but it was OK...
What i really disappointed in is the villain...those Telmarines didn't really kick my ass...compared to Jadis The White Witch, those Telmarines are just pain in the neck...God, i would love to see the freaking hot ice queen riding the chariot pulled by those ice bears...
Oh, follow ups...if those Telmarines didn't kick my ass, neither did the big cat...why did Aslan do nothing but standing there and roar?? in my opinion, the fans will be thrilled to see the big cat fight to death...but to Liam Neeson, way to go!
By the way, screw the Pevensies...they better off play roles in Hamlet or whatever...they're not king and queen like...
Love Ben Barnes accent...though his acting skill is passable, still he has the best one among the entire casts...
Lookin forward to your next, Narnians...

The second movie of The Chronicles of Narnia in my opinion is better than the first one. It is a film that defies the most creative imagination. It is full of action, adventure and the humor is excellent. The CGI are so impressive and the effects astonishing. The cast is practically the same of the first movie except for Sergio Castellito as King Miraz that by the way his performance was a little confusing because at first he seems the worst villian and then he becomes kinda weak. The for kids seems more mature and it notice in their performances. The movie is a little bit too long but it doesn't get tiresome. To conclude, the movie is enjoyable and entertaining, perfect for all ages.

Prince Caspian was always my least favorite of the Narnia books, but that's not to say I disliked it!

I love all the books, and so I am so so eager to see this asap!

The best fantasy movie since "Lord of the Rings" -- in fact it ranks right up there with the last two LotR installments. It's excellent. I'm a little surprised they got away with a PG rating for this one (they had to make some obvious sacrifices to do it; the battle scenes could have been amazing and instead were merely satisfactory -- battle scenes with no blood can only go so far). But all in all probably the best movie of the year so far, and I can't wait for the next installment.

Great movie for kids and adults alike,This more then made up for the slow first one,This one had it all from start to finsh, very enjoyable movie. This one is a must for my movie collection. The storyline was great,The acting was alot better in this then the first. It felt more like a adult movie then just a childrens fairy tale.I just wish now that I spent the money and went to go see it in the theatres.Seeing those SFX on the big screen would have been killer.

I had some issues with the first movie in the "Chronicles of Narnia" series, but this one seemed to not only make me lose all doubts for the series, it even reaffirmed my passion to watch and read the series all over again. One word for this movie: EPIC!

Plot is stretched too thin. Ben barnes does a good job. Good effort on the sequel but not as good as the first
